The settings can be accessed from the System Tray. Below the graph is where the actual numbers for download and upload usage are displayed. The download, upload, and overlap usage are represented by bars of different colors.

Instead, BitMeter appears as a small graph displaying your Internet usage floating across your screen. Since it’s such a small program, the installation process for it was very quick and uncomplicated. Using BitMeter, you’ll always be aware of the how much network resource you’re using. BitMeter developed by Codebox is a tool that can provide this service. With this in mind, keeping track of your Internet usage is incredibly important. When this happens, it’s usually because someone is using up a lot of Internet resources. Sometimes you’ll notice that your Internet is slowing down or just disappears completely. This is especially problematic when you’re not the only one using the network. Not knowing your network usage is very problematic. Thank you Rob for a great little product.A simple meter to keep track of your network usage One aspect I really like about this product is that it is considered 'Thank-You-Ware' and all the developer asks is that if you enjoy using the product then simply write with feedback and inform them - Fair enough! In addition to this, there is also the opportunity to make a donation to the charity of the developer's choice and think this is a really commendable approach. The data 'BitMeter' records is easily accessible in different formats and in my experience this product just 'goes about its business' without any errors, issues or 'glitches'. The small graph window is really quite unobtrusive. Since switching to Broadband, I wanted to log my 'Download'/'Upload' rates and BitMeter records this data comprehensively. Have had 'BitMeter' v3.5 installed on my PC for some weeks now and thought it high-time I wrote a well-deserved review.
